1. There should be sufficient space around the halogen moisture analyzer to prevent heat accumulation and overheating.

2. Do not place flammable materials around the instrument as the area around the heating unit may become hot.

3. After the test is completed,Due to the fact that the sample itself, heating unit, and its container can still be very hot, caution should be taken when removing the sample.

4. During the heating and drying process, the temperature of the ring-shaped heating components will reach400℃Therefore, do not open or touch the heating unit. If you need to turn it on, please disconnect the power and wait until it completely cools down.

5. Be particularly careful with flammable or combustible materials, solvent containing substrates, and substrates that produce flammable or explosive gases when heated, as these samples may pose a risk to human health or damage equipment. Therefore, when measuring such samples, the operating heating temperature should be sufficiently low to prevent the formation of flames or explosives, and protective equipment such as goggles should be worn. If the combustibility of the sample is not well understood, the amount of test sample should be minimized as much as possible. In this case, the instrument should be supervised by a dedicated person just in case. Please conduct a risk analysis before the experiment.

6. For matrices containing toxic elements, they can only be heated and dried under well ventilated conditions.

7. A substrate that generates corrosive steam during heating and drying. When measuring samples of this substrate, it is recommended to reduce the sample weight as the steam will condense on the colder outer shell and cause corrosion.
